DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN
The designation of origin of Ycoden Daute Isora takes its name from the two Menceyatos (kings from the Guanche era): Ycoden and Daute and the dominions of the Princess Isora.
It includes the ample and lush region in the Northwest of Tenerife, including the boroughs of San Juan de la Rambla, La Guancha, Icod de los Vinos, Garachico, Los Silos, Buenavista del Norte, El Tanque, Santiago del Teide and Guía de Isora, and represents a geographical link between the North and South of the island.
